My work has become a mixture of patience, vision, color and anticipation. Some works have taken over 250 hours to complete. While most of my work would be considered digital illustration, this medium allows me endless color palettes at the tips of my fingers. Cleanup is as easy as clicking the save button.

While I worked heavily in mono and duo tones and found pleasure in working with a restricted color palette.  Today I love working with a large extended endless color palette. I like to think the viewer sees as much joy as I feel when creating.

When stepping away from the computer I indulge in collage arts.  Ripping up beautiful sheets of handmade papers and again working with a limited color palette, I then assemble the pieces into patterns.   I can create on cavasses,  found objects and furniture (functional art).  Collage is in my time and is so simple with apply glaze with a single brush and ripped paper.   It is truly a way to center myself.

All of my art centers me and I have a great understanding of the effects it has on me.   I can say that one thing that really surprises me is the connection I receive when doing portraits.  I like finding people I meet on my journey and asking them to muse for a portrait.  I so am looking forward to getting back to my roots of capturing those I meet on my journey.
